There are certain books that will stand the test of time for me - I’ve always loved to read, although as a teenager Mills and Boon were my preference (I’m such a romantic at heart). With the creation of audio versions of books, I gravitated to listening to my favourite authors reading their books to me – There is something about connecting with the energy of an author’s voice which pulls me into the magical power of their words every time.
I am one of "those" people who is always recommending my favourite reads to my friends and my clients, if I feel it might resonate with them or if I know a certain book will help them with a problem they are struggling with.
Whilst I embrace a holistic approach to living my life and am besotted with the mystery of the spiritual realm, I’m also a super practical person who gravitates to books which share simple teachings, which I can incorporate into my life with ease.
The only book in my library, that will test your maths skills and takes a little bit of effort, is working out your numerology profile - Let me tell you though, once you've worked out your own numerology profile, you will want to calculate your whole family's numerology profile and this ends up being so much FUN!
I LOVE "EASY TO READ" BOOKS WITH NOT TOO MANY BIG WORDS!

The “Five Love Languages of Children” helped me when I was struggling with parenting my youngest daughter, helping me to realise that I needed to adapt my parenting style to understand her on a deeper level – “Stand up for your Life” was one of the first "how to" books which walked me through practical steps to setting boundaries, intentions and goals in my life. About 20yrs ago, I came across this fabulous read with my girlfriend, and she and I quickly became accountability partners for each other and dived head first into our personal development journeys. We met or spoke on the phone every Monday and worked through the book together, supporting each other through the hard times and celebrating each other through the good times.
About the same time I was gifted “The Four Agreements” by another girlfriend and this too was mind blowing! I can’t say that I was able to fully take in Don Miguel Ruiz's teachings at the time, but over the years, when I've re-visited this book I am reminded of the effect his words have on me.
Each of the books above hold a special significance for me, coming into my life, when I needed my soul needed to grow a little more.
Now, if you have any amazing reading suggestions for me, please email me, message me via Instagram or Facebook or leave your recommendation below for me to read. I am always on the look out for wonderful books to read.
