THIS IS MY WELLNESS PHILOSOPHY AND HAS BEEN FOR A VERY LONG TIME!
We need to feel great, to do great things in our life,
so how does this resonate with you?
What does feeling great, look like for you, in your life?
The reason, I pose this question, is because feeling great, means different things, to different people. What I need in my life to feel great, could be and most likely, looks very different than what you may need to feel great.
What does feeling great mean to me?
Well, I thrive when I’m feeling happy, peaceful and content.
When I integrate these activities into my daily routine - Getting out into nature regularly, moving my body regularly, connecting with my family every day, sitting down to work on and in our businesses, getting a great night’s sleep, eating amazing food, meditating, manifesting and socializing with the amazing friends I have in my life, I FEEL GREAT!
It’s taken me YEARS to work this out, and boy am I happy I did. It's like creating your favourite cake - It's all about mixing together the right ingredients, measured carefully, sprinkled with love & baked for the right amount of time! Sometimes it takes a while to figure out what works best, and when it comes to feeling great, it may take some time to figure out what works for you.
I know what I need to do in my life to feel great, and yet, for many years, this had felt like a real struggle for me, with the demands of being a mum, wife, friend, sister, daughter, work colleague - I felt very stretched across many different areas of my life and not feeling fulfilled in any one area. I felt like I didn't have the time to do the things I wanted, yet, at the end of the day, I get to choose how I want to live my life and if I was choosing to prioritize every one else's needs over my own, I needed to OWN this choice & not look to others to blame, for how I was feeling.
I got to the point, where I felt mentally and emotionally drained and really wanted to feel good in my skin, so I could show up in all my different roles in my life. Trying to figure out what made me feel good, was my starting point, so I could show up for others - I cringe when I write this last sentence, because after years of studying physical, emotional & spiritual well-being, I know the KEY to sustained well-being is LOVING myself from the inside-out. This means I am showing up for myself first, and when I can do that, then I can support others from my heart space and with enthusiasm.

YES - This means go to bed a little earlier if you need to!
YES - This means work in a place where you feel supported and valued!
YES - This means start speaking your truth from your heart space!
YES - This means start moving your body regularly, if exercise makes you feel good.
YES - This means getting out into nature as much as possible!
YES - This means meditate, if meditation makes you feel great!
YES - This means stop watching and listening to shows which don’t inspire you!
YES - This means doing things that make you feel good for you, not for others!
