I feel like, we’re all looking for the magic pill in life to make us happy, quick fix, when there is no magic pill.
Life is about the long game, taking baby steps in the direction our heart chooses to guide us.
Yet, so many of us are getting distracted along the way.
A lot of us, were not encouraged to get to know our own selves, that what we think matters too – Instead, we were led to believe that what others think, is more important than what we think, and this is where the wheels start falling off in life?
What would your life look like, if you had been encouraged, to place importance on the creative ideas which come into your mind on a daily basis?
What would your life look like, if you were told that your ideas mattered, your words mattered and your creations mattered?
What would your life look like, if you had the utmost confidence in those ideas, and you took action on them each time, they came to you?
What would your life look like, if you didn’t need to the support of a trusted loved one, to take action, that you in fact, had such a high level of self confidence, you took independent purposeful steps in the direction your heart encouraged you to move in, regardless of anyone else’s opinion?
How would you FEEL?
Would you be the same person, that you are right now?
I feel like, I’ve spent way too much time over the years, checking in with others, to see if my ideas mattered to them, and if they didn’t support them, I would shelve them too & not take action.
I feel like, I’ve spent way too much time, doubting myself & doubting my abilities.
I feel like, I’ve spent way too much time, worrying about whether I’ve made “good decisions” because what would others think about my decisions.
Then, I think about what I want for my daughters, and their friends and the generations to come after us and would you believe…..
I want them, to trust in their own ideas over anyone else’s.
I want them, to act on their heart’s desires, without feeling the need to consult another person.
I want them, to get excited about their ideas, trust in their ability to create, no matter what.
I want them to enjoy spending time on their own, loving themselves and loving their mind space.
I want them to tune into their own guidance EVERY SINGLE DAY and in EVERY MOMENT OF THE DAY.
I want them to do what feels right for them, and not, what might look right to others.
Because when they can do this for themselves, they will feel confident, they will not worry what others think of them and they will not need to check in with others to validate their opinions and ideas.
Here’s the thing, for my daughters to have the best chance of living a life, feeling FREE from the complexities we currently face, one of the important ingredients of change, is for ME, to start taking these steps in my own life.
They need to see me.…..
Trust in my own ideas over anyone else’s.
Act on my own heart’s desires, without feeling the need to consult another person.
Get excited about my own ideas, trust in my ability to create, no matter what.
Spend time loving myself and loving my mind space.
Tuning into my own guidance EVERY SINGLE DAY and in EVERY MOMENT OF THE DAY.
Do what feels right for me, not, what might, look right to other’s.
I see too many young and mature people struggling through life, through no fault of their own, but rather, because they are not equipped with the mindset tools, to help navigate and more importantly thrive through life.
We can change this, and it starts with taking responsibility, transforming our own mindsets and having fun with it too.

I am nearing my half century here on earth, and I’m just getting vocal about the importance of mastering your mindset, so that you can transform your life…..and I need your assistance.
I went through a time in my late twenties, where I hit a patch, where I discovered I was depressed, and I learnt during this time, that I was the only person, that could pull myself out of this depression – I was transitioning from playing elite level sport for a large portion of my life, and I didn’t know who I was, if I was not an athlete anymore. This is really common for retired athletes to feel this way. I needed assistance, and I sought assistance from an amazing counsellor, and through this experience, I realised, that I was responsible for my own mindset, that playing sport was something I did, not who I am as a person, and this opened up a new chapter of discovery in my life.
It wasn’t though, until I was in my mid-thirties, when I started to devote more time to this part of my whole wellness journey. I noticed that I was anxious, that I worried about my daughters, instead of using my mind power, to manifest for them. I felt tired, all the time, because, the thoughts I would think on a day to basis, would drain my energy levels and it just became all too much for me.
I didn’t have any rock bottom moment, but, rather, I realised slowly, that I needed to look for a better way to live my life, because I wasn’t enjoying, in the way, I wanted to.
I’m super grateful that I am a super resourceful person, who has always known, how to empower herself, is someone who can learn easily, and really thrives on putting into practice, new learnings, which resonate deeply with me.
In fact, I love the transformation that has come about in my own life so much, that I started studying about holistic mindset & intuitive well-being & becoming a wellness practitioner, so that I can help others do the same.
There is no need to struggles, in fact, it’s just about learning the mindset tools you can use in any given situation, diving into your wellness toolkit, to pull them out, and then applying them in your life.
